In this role you will be responsible for leading software teams within the pension domain and play a key role in translating customer needs into concrete solutions.
About the role
As Teamlead Software Development, you are the connecting factor between customers, stakeholders and development teams. You bring structure, direction and stability to a complex and dynamic environment and actively contribute to the further digitization of processes and customer journeys.
You have a strong content base and are able to grasp complex issues quickly. At the same time, you know how to inspire, coach and effectively manage teams. You combine strategic insight with a hands-on mentality.
The organization works with modern technologies such as microservices, distributed systems and cloud solutions. You will lead multidisciplinary teams in which collaboration, innovation and quality are key.
Responsibilities
In this role:
- Lead multiple software teams within the retirement domain
- Bring focus by setting clear frameworks, priorities and direction
- Monitor oversight and ensure effective collaboration
- Translate your customer and stakeholder needs into roadmaps, epics and concrete deliverables
- Encourage innovation and provide solutions in line with market trends
- Anticipate changes in technology, legislation and the marketplace
- Are responsible for team development, coaching and talent acquisition
- Maintain strong relationships with (key) customers and act as a strategic sparring partner
- Actively contribute to the strategic direction of the domain

What we are looking for
- Minimum hbo working and thinking level
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role within software development
- Ability to shift gears strategically and operationally
- Strong communication skills (towards team, stakeholders and customers)
- Experience with Agile/Scrum and multidisciplinary teams
- Proactive and solution-oriented mindset
- Solid personality with connecting leadership
- Broad technical knowledge (software development/architecture)
- Experience with or affinity for the pension domain is a plus
