For a rapidly growing tech scale-up in the Zwolle region, Iduet has begun the exclusive recruitment of a Chief Technology Officer (CTO). This scale-up is at a crucial moment: the new platform is live, the first international markets have been opened, and the organization is ready to grow substantially in the coming years — both in the Netherlands and beyond.
To achieve this growth, we are looking for a CTO who can naturally connect technology, product, and business. A leader who can both determine strategic direction and operationally understand how a platform must perform every day.

The organization is developing an innovative B2B platform that is transforming a traditional industry. Where processes normally take weeks to months, this is reduced to just a few working days by the platform.

The Role: CTO / Director Product & Technology
The CTO will be responsible for the technological direction, the development speed, and the professionalization of the entire product and technology domain.
Your role is broad and strategic, yet close to the team and the product.

1. Technological vision & scalability
You develop a future-proof technical vision aimed at international growth. You make choices that contribute to performance, reliability, and flexibility.
2. Roadmap & execution
Together with product, you own the roadmap.
You ensure focus, predictability, quality, and rhythm in the development process.
3. Leadership & team development
You foster a culture where ownership, collaboration, and professionalism are central.
You coach and strengthen engineering, data, and product roles, fitting for a scale-up in growth acceleration.
The ideal candidate brings
- Experience as a CTO or Tech Lead within a scale-up or rapidly growing organization
- Strong background in software engineering and system architecture
- Experience with cloud-native, API-first or high-volume platforms
- Leadership experience in multidisciplinary tech teams
- Ability to connect technical choices to business goals
- Affinity with supply chain, production processes, or B2B environments is a plus
