We are seeking a dynamic, business-oriented Director Digital & IT to lead the digital transformation of a major regional business unit within a pan-European group. As a key member of the local leadership team and part of the Group Digital & IT Leadership, you will shape and implement a modern, integrated digital and IT strategy in alignment with group-wide initiatives.
The Role
You’ll be the driving force behind stabilizing and in the future modernizing our digital landscape, overseeing everything from operations and infrastructure to data and analytics, master data management, and application development. Your mission: ensure secure, seamless, and future-proof IT services while driving data-led innovation across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Shape and execute the local Digital & IT strategy aligned with group-wide transformation goals.
- Lead a team of digital, data, and IT professionals and manage key supplier relationships.
- Ensure robust IT operations, business continuity, and cyber resilience.
- Implement and enforce group-wide IT governance and information security frameworks.
- Champion data management, analytics, and data quality across the organization.
- Guide the implementation of next-generation ERP, eCommerce, and data platforms.
- Act as a strategic partner to the business, enabling growth and customer excellence through technology.
About You
- 7+ years of experience in senior IT or digital leadership roles in international, matrixed environments.
- Proven ability to lead digital and IT transformations in complex organizations.
- Deep understanding of enterprise applications, data platforms, and cloud technologies (e.g. Azure).
- Fluent in both English and German.
- Hands-on, structured, and collaborative—comfortable balancing strategic thinking with operational excellence.
- Strong communicator with the ability to inspire and engage across all levels of the organization.
