For a leading organization in the energy and infrastructure world, Iduet seeks a Manager of Software Development who effortlessly connects technology, people and business.
In this role you will direct multiple DevOps teams (5) and help build a modern software landscape that is crucial for the energy transition in the Netherlands. You operate at strategic and tactical level and have a direct impact on scalability, reliability and innovation.
Work Location
You will be working from central Netherlands, in the Amersfoort – Apeldoorn region.
We are looking for someone who lives logically and practically in relation to this region and enjoys working with teams and stakeholders in locations on a regular basis.
What will you do?
As Manager of Software Development:
- Lead multiple DevOps teams (approximately 40 professionals)
- Are you MT member of the IT organization and sparring partner of management and business
- Carry responsibility for quality, continuity, security and performance
- Build a future-proof IT and platform strategy
- Bring calm and structure to a complex, high-growth environment
- Connect your business ambitions with realistic technology choices
This is not a role for a pure people manager or a hardcore techie – but for someone who understands and oversees both worlds.
What do you bring?
- WO working and thinking level
- Extensive experience (10+ years) in software development and delivery
- Several years of recent experience (5+) in managing multidisciplinary teams
- Experience with complex IT landscapes, platforms and integrations
- Strong in stakeholder management and decision-making
- Peace of mind, overview and ability to explain difficult choices clearly
- Preferably you have experience within asset-intensive environments, such as organizations working with infrastructure, energy, mobility or industrial systems, where software and data are directly connected to physical assets, operation and continuity.
- You are known as someone who inspires confidence, dares to cut knots and makes teams function better.
- You know the ropes in a mixed culture of Startup vs. Corporate
