Linux Engineer

For an international high-tech organization active in the security of identity solutions, we are looking for an experienced Linux/DevOps Engineer. In this role, you will play a key role in migrating a complex Linux infrastructure and automating management processes within a high-security environment.

The role

You will be responsible for migrating an outdated Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environment to a future-proof platform. You will develop and implement automation solutions using Ansible, Terraform and Git, among others. In this way, you make management more efficient and less error-prone, while increasing the reliability and scalability of the infrastructure.

What you will do

• Migrate an existing RHEL environment to a new, stable version
• Develop automation scripts and solutions (Ansible, Terraform)
• Working with Git and CI/CD principles for management and deployment
• Improve the reliability and scalability of the IT environment
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team with a focus on security

What we are looking for

• Demonstrated experience as a Linux or DevOps Engineer
• In-depth knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
• Experience with tools such as Ansible, Terraform and Git
• Knowledge of automation, scripting and infrastructure management
• Independent, proactive and focused on quality and collaboration
• Experience working in a high-security environment is a plus
