Our client develops and manufactures innovative, patented technologies for global A-brands. With offices in Europe, the organization delivers high-quality solutions and combines strong R&D capabilities with excellent mass production and customer focus. The organization is in a growth phase and is strongly committed to digitalization and further professionalization of the IT environment.
The function
As IT Manager, you are responsible for managing, optimizing and future-proofing the IT organization. You translate the business strategy into a concrete IT policy and ensure a stable, secure and efficient IT infrastructure that supports the international operation.
You play a key role in achieving a digitally agile organization in which systems, applications and processes seamlessly align with business objectives.
Responsibilities
IT strategy & policy
- Further develop and implement IT strategy in line with business objectives
- Standardization and creation of added value within the organization
Leadership & organization
- Managing a team of IT professionals
- Intensive collaboration with external IT partners
- Responsible for a service-oriented and proactive IT organization in international locations
Cybersecurity & risk management
- Ensuring a secure IT environment
- Protection of intellectual property and sensitive information
- Increase cybersecurity awareness within the organization
Budget & performance
- Preparation and management of IT budgets
- Monitor IT expenditures and project costs
- Responsible for cost-effective procurement of hardware, software and services
Continuous improvement & digitization
- Spotting new IT opportunities
- Increase digital effectiveness within the organization
- Optimizing processes (including supply chain related)
Your profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science with at least 7 years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree with at least 5 years of experience
- Demonstrated experience in leading IT teams
- Experience within an international manufacturing or supply chain environment
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP is a plus)
- Fluent in Dutch and English
