Are you ready to make a difference in a dynamic organization where IT and business go hand in hand? We are looking for a connecting and proactive IT Lead who will ensure that everyone works flawlessly, that service is optimal and that the IT department becomes a true partner of the business.
What will you do?
No day is the same – but you can certainly expect this:
- You will coach and coordinate the IT team in the Netherlands and ensure proper staffing, planning and team spirit.
- Together with your team, you will build a stable, secure and future-proof IT environment: from workstations to applications and from networks to servers.
- You are the point of contact for colleagues and management: you translate their needs into smart IT solutions and ensure that technical capabilities are optimally utilized.
- You will organize daily IT support and ensure that incidents and failures are handled quickly, professionally and with clear feedback.
- You will monitor standards, security and compliance (AVG) and ensure overview and transparency in the status of IT service delivery.
- You will lead improvement and innovation projects that strengthen the collaboration between business and IT.
- You liaise closely with suppliers and keep an eye on budget and IT inventory.
What do you bring?
You are someone who understands technology and connects people. You get energy from improving processes and translating business questions into concrete IT solutions. Furthermore, you bring along:
- A completed MBO4 or HBO education, preferably in ICT or business administration.
- At least 5 years of experience within IT, some of which should be in a coordinating or leadership role.
- Knowledge of networking, systems, hardware/software and security.
- Experience with ITIL processes, ticketing and monitoring tools.
- Good command of both Dutch and English language.
- Project management experience (Prince2, Agile) is a plus.
