The challenge
As an Interim Linux Engineer, you will be responsible for managing, maintaining and optimizing the Linux environments within a software security company. You will work on improving the stability, security and performance of the systems and support the DevOps team with implementations and automations
Your duties and responsibilities
- Management and maintenance of Linux infrastructure Debian, Ubuntu, RHEL or CentOS
- Security hardening and implementation of best practices on servers and networks
- Automation and scripting Bash, Python, Ansible to optimize processes
- Support CI/CD pipelines and containerization Docker, Kubernetes
- Troubleshooting and performance tuning of systems and applications
- Working on backups, monitoring and incident management within a high-security environment
Your profile
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Linux Engineer or SysAdmin
- Experience with security measures within an IT environment
- Knowledge of automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform or Puppet
- Experience with containerization Docker, Kubernetes and cloud environments AWS, Azure or GCP
- Proactive, analytical and problem-solving mindset
- Available April 1, for an interim assignment
