What you will do
For our client in the public sector, we are looking for a highly experienced Dynamics 365 CE Engineer.
As a Dynamics CE Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, configuring, implementing and maintaining our Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) environment. You will work closely with functional administrators, developers, testers and business stakeholders to improve and extend our CRM solutions. You play a key role in translating functional requirements into technical solutions and ensure a stable, scalable and user-friendly environment.
The work
- Design and configure Dynamics 365 CE solutions, including entities, workflows, business rules, and Power Automate flows.
- Customize and extend the Dynamics CE environment using JavaScript, TypeScript, and .NET (C#).
- Integrate Dynamics CE with other systems (e.g., Azure, SharePoint, Power Platform, and legacy systems) via APIs, Azure Logic Apps, and Azure Service Bus.
- Optimize performance, security and user experience within the Dynamics CE environment.
- Maintain and update the environment, including patch management and upgrades.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to improve CI/CD pipelines and advance automation.
- Advise on best practices and new functionalities within the Dynamics 365 ecosystem.
- Assist in the resolution of complex technical issues and incidents.
What to bring
- In-depth knowledge of Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE), including:
- Customization (entities, fields, forms, views, dashboards)
- Business Process Flows, Workflows, and Business Rules
- Plugins, Custom Workflow Activities, and Web Resources (JavaScript/TypeScript)
- Power Automate (Flows) and Power Apps
- Data model and relationships, including 1:N, N:1, and N:N relationships
- Security models (Security Roles, Field Level Security, Hierarchy Security)
- Experience developing in:
- C# (.NET Framework/.NET Core) for plugins and custom workflows
- JavaScript/TypeScript for client-side scripting and Web API integrations
- RESTful APIs and OData endpoints
- Knowledge of Azure services such as:
- Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus
- Azure DevOps (repositories, pipelines, releases)
- Azure Key Vault, Application Insights
- Experience with data migration and ETL processes (e.g., with KingswaySoft, Scribe, or SSIS)
- Knowledge of Power Platform (Power Apps, Power BI, Power Virtual Agents)
- Experience with ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) and CI/CD for Dynamics 365
- Knowledge of SQL Server and writing complex queries for reporting and data analysis
- Experience with integrations between Dynamics CE and other systems (e.g. SharePoint, Office 365, legacy systems)
Pre:
- Experience with Dynamics 365 Field Service or Customer Service modules
- Knowledge of Portals (Power Pages) and/or Dynamics 365 Marketing
- Experience with Azure Synapse Analytics or Dataverse
- Knowledge of F# or other functional programming languages
- Certifications such as MB-210, MB-240, MB-400, PL-200, PL-400
