Your role
As an Application Engineer, you will be the link between end users and the Infrastructure & Services team, ensuring that essential business applications function optimally. This includes in-house developed software, ERP systems and CRM platforms critical to the processes in production, sales and distribution.
You will be responsible for both user support and technical management, ensuring that applications work safely and efficiently. Your in-depth knowledge of the underlying processes allows you to set priorities quickly and resolve incidents effectively.
Your responsibilities
- Provide technical support and user support for key business applications
- Manage incident resolution and prioritization to minimize disruptions
- Serve as first point of contact for software vendors to resolve issues, make changes and schedule releases
- Oversee the operation, maintenance and optimization of ERP, CRM and internal applications
- Collaborate with IT teams to keep business processes running smoothly
What we are looking for
- Experience in application management, IT support or similar role
- Knowledge of ERP and CRM systems is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage priorities
- Excellent communication skills to interface between technical teams and end users
- A proactive attitude in incident management and process improvement
