You will work primarily with a cloud-based infrastructure (MS Azure) alongside on-premise solutions across multiple European locations. The role focuses on harmonization, consolidation, security and operational excellence within the IT operations environment.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Key Tasks and Responsibilities.<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Assist in the implementation and execution of the IT operations strategy aligned with the company&#8217;s digital transformation and business objectives.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support the standardization and consolidation of IT infrastructure across the group, contributing to harmonization of cloud-based and on-premise environments.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Help maintain operational excellence, business continuity, and resilience of IT infrastructure.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Collaborate with local IT teams and other IT functions to meet business needs and support IT operations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Monitor and manage cloud infrastructure (MS Azure) and on-premise environments for optimal performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support the development and operation of a Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE) to enable the BME cloud strategy.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assist in migrating and modernizing legacy infrastructure and consolidating systems where applicable.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Apply best practices for hybrid cloud operations, including governance, cost control, and security frameworks.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Participate in automation initiatives, FinOps, AIOps, and self-service capabilities to enhance efficiency and reduce operational overhead.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Contribute to incident response and IT support to ensure high availability and rapid issue resolution.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure IT operations comply with data protection (GDPR), cybersecurity regulations, and industry standards.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Collaborate with Security teams to implement and maintain zero-trust security models.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity (BC) efforts to safeguard against cyber threats and operational disruptions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assist in applying security baselines, patching, vulnerability management, and compliance frameworks.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support coordination with vendors and suppliers to ensure service performance and cost-effective procurement of IT resources.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Keep up to date with emerging infrastructure and operations technologies and contribute insights to support continuous improvement.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Key Functional Competencies<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Solid technical expertise in IT infrastructure, cloud environments (especially MS Azure), network architecture, and IT security.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to collaborate effectively with local and group IT teams as well as business stakeholders.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong communication skills to provide technical consultation and support for IT operations projects.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proactive mindset focused on continuous improvement and operational excellence.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic multi-site, multi-national IT environment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Commitment to promote teamwork and innovation within IT operations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Education and Experience<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>At least 5+ years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure and operations in a multi-site or international context.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Certified for Azure cloud and other relevant technical certifications.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong experience with setting up and operating Azure DevOps and IaC (Bicep).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Practical experience with cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure preferred) and hybrid cloud environments.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong knowledge of IT service management frameworks (ITIL), automation tools, and relevant operational technologies.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Familiarity with network architecture, security best practices, and compliance standards.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience supporting IT consolidation, migration, and modernization projects is an advantage.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proficient in English;
