For a leading wholesaler in the Antwerp region, we are looking for an experienced and entrepreneurial Manager Digital & IT. In this key position you will be responsible for modernizing and driving the local IT and digitalization activities, switching between local operations and international digital strategies.
The function
As Manager Digital & IT, you will ensure a secure, stable and future-proof IT environment. You lead the local digital agenda and play an active role in transforming IT, data and analytics functions into a modern, integrated organization. You work hybrid: partly at the office in Antwerp, partly from home.
Your responsibilities
- Leading daily IT operations and ensuring continuity and security
- Develop and implement local IT & digital strategy in line with group guidelines
- Drive data-driven initiatives in master data, data quality and analytics (including Power BI)
- Harmonize the application landscape and strengthen the IT infrastructure
- Managing projects such as ERP implementations, web shop development and digital transformation
- Function as a liaison between IT, business and external vendors
- Building a high-quality, motivated IT team
- Communicate modern practices and technology as a change agent within the organization
Your profile
- At least 5 years of experience in a managerial IT position within an international organization
- Experience with digital transformation, ERP systems (e.g. Dynamics 365), cloud platforms (such as Azure)
- Broad knowledge of data governance, master data management and analytics
- Strong organizational, communication and analytical skills
- Fluent in Dutch and English, German is a plus
