Our client supports organizations in securely designing, building and managing their digital infrastructure. To temporarily replace a colleague, we are looking for a hands-on interim DevSecOps / IaC Engineer with experience in automating, securing and managing complex infrastructures.
The assignment
As a DevSecOps / IaC Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, deployment and management of automated infrastructure in a secure container and cloud environment. You will work closely with fellow engineers, security specialists and development teams and contribute to the further professionalization of the CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure security and deployment processes.
Responsibilities
- Design and manage secure and scalable infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC)
- Optimize and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitLab)
- Containerization and orchestration with Kubernetes and Docker
- Managing virtual environments with KVM and Red Hat
- Integration and configuration of OpenStack environments
- Automation with Ansible and Packer
- Embedding security-by-design principles in infrastructure and deployment
- Troubleshooting, monitoring and resolving incidents
Wanted profile
- Extensive experience as a DevSecOps Engineer / Infrastructure Engineer within complex, international environments
- In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, GitLab CI/CD
- Experience with IaC tools such as Ansible and Packer
- Familiar with virtualization via KVM and Red Hat environments
- Knowledge of OpenStack is a plus
- Experience with security principles within DevOps (DevSecOps)
- Strong analytical ability, independent work attitude and collaborative approach
- Available at short notice
