About the position:
As an experienced backend tester, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and quality of our backend systems that support essential processes. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders, and have the opportunity to make an impact within complex, critical projects.
Your duties and responsibilities:
Your main duties include manually designing and executing backend test cases, analyzing test results, reporting findings, automating tests with tools such as Java, Appium and Gherkin and ensuring high test coverage. In addition, your responsibility is to proactively identify risks and areas for improvement.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for an experienced tester with HBO or WO working and thinking level and at least 5 years of experience as a software tester with focus on backend systems. Knowledge and experience in cryptography, certificates and PKI is essential, as well as experience with database testing, test automation and tools such as Java, Appium and Gherkin. An ISTQB or TMap certification and familiarity with Scrum and Agile working is a plus.
