Jouw functie:
As Financial Controller Italy with this industrial company, you will work in an international environment. The Financial Controller will have an important role in the financial controlling and reporting of the Italian entity and will report to the Team Leader Italy & Spain. The Controller will be an important sparring partner for several stakeholders in the company on - complex - financial and tax (VAT) issues. In this position you will operate between the local team in Italy, the European HQ in the Netherlands and the HQ in the USA. Functie-eisen:
- Sparring partner for several stakeholders (i.e.: Finance in Italy, HQ in the Netherlands and USA, Business Finance, Tax);
- Responsible for VAT-compliance (reviewing, preparing, tax declarations, intrastate) and dealing with tax issues;
- Support monthly closing under US GAAP, including various (quarterly) reporting;
- Support the preparing of annual statutory accounts under Italian GAAP, liaise with External Auditor;
- Overall Balance Sheet ownership; Account reconciliations & analysis; Ascertains compliance with Internal Accounting Policies & Procedures and SOX;
- Handling other local (tax) reporting requirements including statistical reporting.
Aanbod:
- Degree in Accounting; CPA or equivalent is preferred
- Minimum of 5 years experience mainly in financial accounting
- Italian Statutory is a requirement (US GAAP know-how a plus)
- Take initiative, flexible, no 9-to-5 mentality
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience with Italian VAT regulations is a plus
- SAP experience is a plus
- Multilingual: Italian native, fluent in English.
